COURSE DESCRIPTION

Mixing and Mastering Course at EUMES

Often, we think that by watching YouTube tutorials and learning the top 10 most-used tricks, our tracks will sound amazing – but the reality is different. We need to deeply understand the tools that make these processes possible, like dynamics, compression, saturation, and mixing, to then apply them creatively to our songs.

In this mixing and mastering course focused on an “in the box” approach, you’ll learn to master the techniques and tools that allow you to make the right decisions for achieving a professional sound quality in your work.

We could define mixing and mastering as the final creative processes in music production. Mixing allows the elements to interact and communicate, achieving definition and spatial positioning, while mastering ensures that the entire track sounds correct on any device and competes with other commercial productions in the same genre.

We’ll dive straight into advanced techniques, helping you break through your current quality limitations and providing a more objective approach to improving and refining mixes based on style and specific needs. You’ll master both analog and digital tools used in professional studios, working on real projects, and you’ll notice a significant difference in sound quality — a before and after through hands-on practice.

Of course, we will guide you step-by-step in mixing and mastering your own projects, achieving the sound you want, matching it to a reference track, polishing any style, and meeting industry standards.
