Ableton Live is one of the most powerful music production tools available today, and also the only software that has been created for both music composition and live music .

Improve the quality of your productions and discover your own sound.
You will work directly with Ableton Live and its key tools: virtual instruments, sampler, effects, and MIDI clips to learn production and arrangement workflows. The course is focused on practice: sound design, sample manipulation, rhythmic programming, and basic mixing concepts and preparation for live performance.

1. Ableton Live Basics
Session View and Arrangement View, clips, devices, automation, and signal flow (routings, env/return).
2. Essential blend
Volume, panning, basic EQ, dynamics, and saturation to give coherence and punch to your track.

What is the duration of the course?
The Basic Ableton Live course lasts 30 hours in in-person and/or online format. The specific dates are published on the course information sheet (or course page). The regular sessions take place on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. In summer, an intensive format is offered with classes every day, from Monday to Friday.
Are there limited places?
Yes. In-person spots are limited to 23. .
Is there a minimum age?
Yes: 16 years old (no maximum age).

Do I need previous experience?
No. The Basic Ableton Live course is designed for those who are starting out in music production with Ableton Live.
What will I learn?

- Stable internet connection, headphones, and microphone.
- It is recommended to have Ableton Live installed (the trial version is valid during the first few days).

- In the classroom, you will have all the tools and software needed to work.
- It is highly recommended to have your own basic equipment for practicing between classes: a computer, the software installed (not included in the course), and your own headphones.

- Online sessions and some in-person sessions may be recorded for educational purposes.
- The recordings are made available to enrolled students for review; access is personal and non-transferable.
- Downloading, editing, or distributing the recordings without EUMES’ authorization is not allowed.
- If you prefer not to appear in the recording, you can keep your camera off and microphone muted during online sessions.
