The EUMES Diploma in Music Production and Sound lasts 2 years and is designed to teach you how to compose, produce, record, mix, and master music using professional equipment and software. This is an intensive, hands‑on program that will enable you to develop your sonic identity and prepare you for a career as a music producer.
Upon completing your studies, the diploma is recognized by the University of Girona Foundation: Innovation and Training (FUdGIF) and is structured into 4 specialization certificates of 30 credits each , which add up to a total of 120 ECTS credits and officially endorse your academic career in the main areas of learning: music production and sound .

Music Production Course
Train as a professional music producer
This course is designed for you to master every stage of music production, from composition and sound design to recording, mixing and mastering. At EUMES you will work in professional studios and with instructors active in the industry, learning to use the most advanced software and the analog hardware used in top studios.
In just 2 years of intensive and practical training you will start producing your own music from day one, develop your sonic identity and work on real projects that will prepare you to enter the music market.
You will work with reference DAWs, plugins and professional hardware like that used in large studios. You will also experiment with new technologies applied to music, from artificial intelligence to the creation of sounds for video games and immersive environments.
You will learn alongside active professionals and share your day-to-day life with other students who, like you, want to dedicate themselves to music. At EUMES you will find a creative community that will motivate you and help you grow as a music producer.
What does our Music Production Course offer you?
1st year
Lay the foundations for your path as a music producer. You’ll discover the fundamentals of composition and sound creation , learn to work with DAWs and professional equipment , and start producing your first songs in a real studio environment.
2nd year
Deepen your sonic identity and take your productions to a professional level. You will master advanced production, mixing and mastering techniques, and you will train in sound design and soundtrack creation for audiovisual media and video games .

Start, duration and places
When does the Course start and how long does it last?
The Diploma in Music and Sound Production lasts 2 academic years. Each course begins in September and ends in June.
Are there limited places?
Yes. We only offer 62 places per promotion to guarantee personalized attention and small groups. When places are full, we close registrations.
Location and hours
Where are the classes held?
Classes are 100% face-to-face in Girona, at the EUMES school (Carrer de Baix, 2, Espai Marfà), at the professional studios 44.1 in Aiguaviva and at the El Local studio , in Vilablareix .
What time are classes held?
You can choose the schedule that best suits you. There is one group that holds morning classes and another that runs them in the afternoons, Monday to Friday.
The admissions department will provide detailed information about the schedules for each group.
This flexible system lets you combine your studies with work or other training, and we give scheduling priority to students who already have work responsibilities.
Languages
In what language is the Course taught?
We offer two groups: one in Catalan and one in Spanish. This way you can study in the language that is most comfortable for you.
Previous knowledge and musical style
Do I need previous experience in music production?
No need. Our method adapts to the level of each student. If this is your first contact with music production, you will start from the basics and progress step by step until you develop your own personal project.
However, if you already have previous experience, you can take advantage of our validation program to recognize subjects and adapt the course to your needs. You can consult this during registration or contact the admissions department directly to receive more personalized information.
Does the Music Production Course focus on a specific musical style?
No. You will learn techniques applicable to any genre and have the freedom to create your own sound. The goal is for you to find your artistic identity.
Access and requirements
Do I need to take the PAU or entrance exams?
No. The Diploma in Music and Sound Production is a non-regulated qualification, therefore PAUs are not required.
What is the minimum age?
You must be at least 18 years old to register.
Is there any entrance exam?
Yes. Before being accepted, you will have a personal interview at EUMES to learn about your motivation and musical goals.
Financing and discounts
What payment options are there?
We offer several options so you can choose the one that suits you best:
– Single upfront payment: if you pay the full amount before August 31 by bank transfer, you will receive a discount. For more information, contact us.
– Payment spread over 4 instalments.
– Financing in 9 monthly instalments with special conditions through CaixaBank.
– You also have the option to arrange financing with your own bank.
Are there any scholarships or discounts available?
At the moment, we do not offer scholarships for the Diploma.
