Núria Fernández

Sound editor

Núria Fernández is a sound professional based in Barcelona, specialized in audio post-production for film and audiovisual projects. From a young age, she has always been drawn to the world of music, sound, and visual media—a passion that led her to study the Diploma in Music and Sound Production at EUMES, where she began her professional journey.

Although she initially intended to focus on composing soundtracks, over time she discovered that her true vocation lay in the technical and creative field of sound post-production. To further explore this area, she enrolled in a vocational sound training program, where she solidified her knowledge and developed a strong interest in editing, sound design, and mixing.

Her time at EUMES was key to her development, especially in areas such as mixing, sound theory, and creative development, which helped her adapt to the technical and artistic challenges of the industry. After completing the vocational program, she continued to specialize by taking a dedicated course in sound post-production, and began collaborating on various projects within the sector.

She has contributed to productions such as the documentary Arròs, la sang del Delta and the short film Buscant la nit (the final project of a student from ESCAC), where she handled editing, sound design, and mixing. She also completed an internship at G23 Studio, and has been actively involved in the audiovisual community through events, projects with the audiovisual cluster, and as a member of the organization Dones Visuals, which supports and promotes women in the industry.

Currently, Núria works as a sound editor at Deluxe, one of the most important post-production studios in Europe, where she contributes to large-scale projects with international reach. Her experience at Deluxe has allowed her to be part of a top-level team and to continue growing professionally within the world of sound.

Núria remains committed to lifelong learning and is determined to keep evolving in the field. Her journey shows that passion, education, and adaptability are key to building a career in a creative and ever-changing industry.
