Musician, entrepreneur, creative consultant, journalist specializing in electronic and experimental music, and instructor of the Musical Styles Analysis course within the Advanced Music and Sound Diploma.
As a producer, he has composed music for dance, theater, and interactive installations, collaborating with artists such as Roger Bernat, Àlex Rigola, Lanònima Imperial, Àngels Margarit, and the Gulbenkian Ballet.
In autonomous music, he currently releases experimental electronic music under his own name, minimalist techno as A Blinding White Light, and is a member of the trio l’Eix.
As a consultant, he has served as a programming advisor for festivals like OFFF, Sonar, and Experimentaclub, among others.
As a critic and writer, he has contributed to renowned publications such as Rockdelux, Ruta 66, and La Vanguardia. He has also collaborated on programs for Radio Nacional de España, Radio 4, and Canal 33.
Oriol has contributed to books such as Loops: Una historia de la música electrónica (Mondadori) and El sonido de la Velocidad (Alpha Decay).
In the academic field, Oriol has delivered lectures, master classes, and workshops across Europe, Latin America, and even Oceania. At EUMES, he teaches Musical Styles Analysis and Sound Dramaturgy.
