Marc Sureda is a producer, DJ and cultural manager. A former student of the Diploma in Advanced Music and Sound from EUMES, he has turned his training into a professional career that has led him to co-direct the La Cabra concert hall and be director of the Cabró Rock festival, one of the leading events in Catalan rock.
His beginnings were linked to the audiovisual world, always in music-related projects. His interest in delving deeper into production led him first to the Ableton Live course at EUMES and later to study the full three-year diploma. During this period he discovered his passion for the music industry, especially through the subjects of event production, management and marketing.
The turning point came with an internship at Midnight Group , the company of former professor Sisu, where he participated in the organization of festivals in the midst of the pandemic. Thanks to this experience, Marc joined as co-director of La Cabra and took on production, marketing and day-to-day management tasks of the venue. At the same time, he is part of the production and communication team of Cabró Rock, where he works throughout the year in the selection of artists, the promotion of the festival and the logistical coordination.
For Marc, the key to EUMES is direct contact with teachers who are active professionals: “I trusted a teacher who is now my boss, and that opened the doors to my current job.” Today, his career is an example of how training and internship opportunities at EUMES can transform a passion into a professional career within the music industry.
