THE SPACES
Study in a professional environment
Recording studios, equipped classrooms and professional tools so you can learn by doing and develop your projects in a real environment. We don’t just tell you how the industry works. We prepare you so you can work in it.
Production classroom
The space where we teach most subjects. Each student has their own computer.
Recording studio
Control room and booth, with backline and microphones to record a full band. This is where the recording subjects take place and the final projects are recorded.
Hybrid mastering studio
Analogue and digital on the same chain. You will be able to master your tracks in a treated room with reference monitoring.
DJ booth
Professional equipment like that found in clubs or festivals. Practice your sets with volume and precision.
Production studio
A space to work on your tracks with analogue hardware outside the classroom.
Auditorium and café
This is where masterclasses, final project presentations and graduations take place. And the café, with an outdoor terrace, is the ideal space to socialise and generate synergies.
AN OUTSTANDING ENVIRONMENT
The campus is inside the city's music creation centre
EUMES is at La Marfà, a former textile factory refurbished and, since 2011, the music creation centre of Girona, managed by Girona Cultura and the Casa de la Música del Gironès.
You share the building with rehearsal rooms, international artistic residencies, concert programming, events and active projects. An ideal place to make contacts and connect with the local scene.
BEYOND THE CAMPUS
Two top-level professional studios
EL LOCAL (VILABLAREIX)
Part of the training takes place off-campus, in renowned recording studios with outstanding equipment. It is run by Marc Piña, EUMES lecturer.
A few minutes from Girona. Diploma subjects such as Recording Techniques are taught here and our students record their projects.
MUSICLAN (AVINYONET DE PUIGVENTÓS)
A residential studio with decades of history and hundreds of records recorded.
