Discover our new campus in Figueres
We are about to open a new campus in Figueres, with completely new facilities to host the Official Degree courses. We are finishing the works and will keep you updated.
WHAT YOU WILL STUDY
The Official Degrees are taught in Figueres
Four years, 240 ECTS and a Higher Degree in Music equivalent to a university degree.
Three specialities to choose from:
- Degree in Music and Sound Production (Sonology): Production, recording, mixing, mastering and sound engineering.
- Degree in Performance of Modern Music: Technique, improvisation, repertoire, live performance and playing with a band.
- Degree in Composition and Musical Creation: Composition, arrangements for different styles and settings.
ACCESS TO BOTH CAMPUSES
You study in Figueres and also have the Girona campus at your disposal
Students at the Figueres Campus can use all the facilities of the Girona Campus, and vice versa. Recording studio, hybrid mastering studio, DJ booth and production studios, with the same booking system.
It is 14 minutes by high-speed train (AVE) or 30 minutes by regional train between the two cities.
AN ICONIC STUDIO
Carry out placements at one of the area's most emblematic studios
Our students on the Official Degree will carry out some of the training activities at the MusicLan studio in Avinyonet de Puigventós.
At this studio, awarded four Grammy Awards, recordings have been made by artists such as Mariah Carey, Shakira, Bunbury and Jarabe de Palo.
HOW TO GET THERE
How to get to the campus?
Address: Ronda Sud, 3 · 17600 Figueres
- On foot: 15 minutes from the centre (1 km from the Rambla and the Dalí Museum).
- Regional train (R11): Station 10 minutes on foot (750 m). Direct connection with Girona and Barcelona.
- AVE: Figueres-Vilafant station 3 km away (with urban bus). 14 minutes from Girona and <1 h from Barcelona.
- Car: Direct access from the N-II and AP-7. Free parking in front of the campus.
- Bus: Station 10 minutes on foot (next to the train station).
