When does the Diploma start and how long does it last?
The Diploma in Music Production lasts 2 academic years. Each academic year begins in September and ends in June.
Are places limited?
Yes. We only offer 60 places per intake to ensure personalised attention and small groups. When the places are filled, we close registrations.
Where are the classes held?
Classes are 100% in-person in Girona, at the EUMES school (Carrer de Baix, 2, La Marfà building), at the professional studios El Local (Vilablareix) and MusicLan (Avinyonet de Puigventós). In addition, you can access EUMES Girona and EUMES Figueres studios without limits.
What are the class hours?
Classes run Monday to Friday in one of two schedules: morning or afternoon.
Schedules are allocated according to demand by the admissions team, always trying to respect the schedule you have chosen but subject to actual availability.
Do I need prior experience in music production?
No. Our method adapts to each student’s level. Whether you have experience or are just starting, we ensure you gain a solid foundation in everything vital for music production: music theory, use of different DAWs, sound engineering, music business, etc.
In addition, some of our subjects are eligible for recognition if you have prior qualifications and/or demonstrable proficiency. You can check this during registration or contact the admissions department directly for personalised information.
Does the Diploma in Music Production and Sound focus on a specific musical style?
No. You will learn techniques applicable to any genre and will have the freedom to create your own sound. The aim is for you to find your artistic identity.
Do I need to take the PAU or entrance exams?
No. The Diploma in Music Production is a non-regulated own qualification, so PAU are not required.
What is the minimum age?
You must be at least 18 years old, or turn 18 during the first year, to enrol.
Is there any entrance test?
Yes. Before being accepted, you will have a personal interview at EUMES to discuss your motivation and musical goals.
What payment options are available?
We have several options so you can choose the one that suits you best:
- Single upfront payment: if you pay the full amount before 31 August via bank transfer, you will receive a €445 discount.
- Payment in 4 instalments.
- Financing in 9 monthly payments.
- Financing with special conditions through CaixaBank.
- You also have the option to arrange financing with your own bank.
Are there scholarships or discounts available?
At the moment we do not offer scholarships for the Diploma in Music Production.
