Emma Sayer is a singer-songwriter from Girona with a musical style that blends pop and folk in English. Her main influences are well-known artists such as Taylor Swift, Avril Lavigne and Alanis Morissette, who strongly shape her performance and songwriting style.
Her artistic career officially began in 2020 with the release of her first single, which allowed her to start a prolific period of small-format live concerts across the province of Girona. From there, Emma began to establish a solid presence on the local scene, with regular performances in music bars and intimate venues, where she connects deeply with audiences thanks to her authenticity and sensitivity.
In 2022, Emma took a major step forward with the release of her first EP titled «Devotion», a collection of original songs that were recorded and produced by Mickey Simmonds, a recognised English producer with a notable history of working with internationally renowned artists such as Mike Oldfield. This EP represents a turning point in her career, showing artistic and sonic maturity that opens doors beyond the local sphere.
With more than 67 concerts over the past four years, Emma has demonstrated her ability to attract very diverse audiences. Notably, her performances in the Periscopi series at Sala La Mirona (Salt, Girona) stand out, as well as four concerts at iconic venues in London, which have helped expand her international audience.
She has also been recognised in music competitions, winning 3rd and later 1st prize at the Inèdit competition in Llambilles, as well as 1st prize at the “Tu de Què Vas” competition in Platja d’Aro in 2024.
Her most recent work is the single «I’ll Be Loving You» released in 2025, a track that has been very well received by the public and marks a new direction in her career, exploring more produced and personal sounds.
Emma is currently studying for a Diploma in Music Production at EUMES Girona, where she is deepening her technical and creative knowledge. At the same time, she is working on new tracks that are entirely self-produced and written by herself, preparing to continue evolving and surprising audiences with innovative and sincere proposals.
