Marc Sureda is a producer, DJ and cultural manager. A former student of the Diploma in Advanced Music and Sound at EUMES, he has turned his training into a professional career that led him to co-direct the concert venue La Cabra and to be director of the Cabró Rock festival, one of the benchmark events of Catalan rock.

His beginnings were linked to the audiovisual world, always in projects related to music. His interest in delving into production first led him to the EUMES Ableton Live course and later to undertake the full three-year diploma. During this period he discovered his passion for the music industry, especially through the subjects of event production, management and marketing.

The turning point came with the internship at Midnight Group, the company of former teacher Sisu, where he took part in organising festivals in the midst of the pandemic. Thanks to that experience, Marc joined La Cabra as co-director and took on production, marketing and day-to-day management tasks for the venue. At the same time, he is part of the production and communications team for Cabró Rock, where he works throughout the year on artist selection, festival promotion and logistical coordination.

For Marc, the key at EUMES is the direct contact with teachers who are active professionals: “I trusted a teacher who today is my boss, and that opened the doors to my current job.” Today, his career is an example of how training and internship opportunities at EUMES can turn a passion into a professional career within the music industry.
