Núria Fernández is a sound professional based in Barcelona, specialised in sound post-production for film and audiovisuals. Since childhood she has always been drawn to the world of music, sound and audiovisuals, a passion that led her to study the Diploma in Music Production and Sound at EUMES, where she began her professional journey.
Although initially she wanted to focus on composing soundtracks, over time she discovered that her true vocation lay in the technical and creative field of sound post-production. To deepen her knowledge in this area, she completed a vocational course in sound, where she consolidated her skills and discovered her interest in editing, sound design and mixing.
Her time at EUMES was crucial for Núria, especially in areas such as mixing, sound theory and the development of musical creativity, which helped her adapt to the technical and artistic challenges of post-production. After the course, she continued to specialise with a specific course in sound post-production and began collaborating on various industry projects.
She has taken part in productions such as the documentary Arròs, la sang del Delta and the short film Buscant la nit (the final project of an ESCAC student), in which she was responsible for the editing, sound design and mixing. She also interned at the G23 studio, and has been actively involved in the audiovisual community through events, projects of the audiovisual cluster, and as a member of the organisation Dones Visuals, which supports and promotes women in the sector.
She currently works as a sound editor at Deluxe, one of the most important post-production studios in Europe, from where she collaborates on large-scale projects with international reach. Her experience at Deluxe has allowed her to be part of a top-level team and to continue growing as a professional in the field of sound.
Núria remains committed to continuous learning and to continuing to evolve within the industry. Her career demonstrates that passion, training and adaptability are key to making a way in a creative industry that is constantly transforming.
