Medin Peiron,

Classically trained musician, graduated in sonology from the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya (Esmuc).

As an electroacoustic composer, he trained in France with teachers such as Denis Dufour and Jonathan Prager, also starting with the latter in the art of acousmatic interpretation. His works have been presented at Festivals such as “Festival de Música Contemporánea de Alicante” (Alicante, Spain), “Mixtur” (Barcelona, ​​Spain), “Musiques d’ajourd’hui” (Perpignan, France), “Futura” (Crest, France), “Cycle Experiences du son” (Paris, France), “Musica Electronica Nova” (Poland), “Musicacoustica” (Beijing), and at the “New York City Electroacoustic Music Festival” (New York), among others. He also participates in the concerts organized in Barcelona by “El Sindicato de Altavoces”, the acousmonium of composer Pablo Fredes.

Passionate about the Barcelona neighborhood of Poblenou, its beach, and electroacoustic music, he works, as a member of the “Orquestra del Caos”, in the dissemination of this musical genre in Barcelona, ​​collaborating in the organization of the “Zeppelin” Electroacoustic Music and Sound Art Festival. He is also an independent consultant for “ACA” (“Area of ​​Acoustic Creation”) in Búger, Mallorca, where he collaborates in the programming of the “Encontres de Compositors”. He is currently developing a PhD on the French electroacoustic school under the direction of Carmen Pardo.
